    Scott Knudson

    CEO, COO

    Born and raised in Arizona, Scott comes from a long family line of engineers who work here in The Valley. After getting his start in the landscape industry over 10 years ago by working in the field installing irrigation systems, plantings, and artificial turf, Scott found his true passions in the industry—engineering, complex building, and people—passions which led him to found OHPLC.

    Scott takes pride in OHPLC’s ability to build quality, long- lasting relationships with designers and architects, enabling him and his team to implement every detail in their builds—just the way it was intended. This extends to building the team-first atmosphere among OHPLC’s employees and crews who he describes as “top-notch individuals, with commitment you won’t find at many other companies.” Scott’s favorite part of his work? Working with the clients during the build process so that he can consistently deliver exceptional builds for his clients and design partners.

    Outside of work, Scott enjoys spending time with his parents and sister, catching up on a tv series, working out, playing basketball, and continuing his jiu jitsu training.

    Cathy Pippen

    CFO

    With 30 years of experience working in finance with many different industries, Cathy plays an integral role on the OHPLC team. She has her B.S. in Accounting from ASU, and her friendly, team-first demeanor, along with her organized, problem solving work style has played a key role in OHPLC’s recent growth. Outside of the office, Cathy loves an evening out at the movies, spending time with her family and friends, and exploring new cities.

    Oscar Navarro

    Chief Construction Officer

    Starting his construction career working at his father’s customers’ job sites when he was young, Oscar has a vast knowledge base when it comes to landscape and pool construction. An Arizona native, Oscar studied landscape architecture at GCC and ASU, and worked as a designer for his father’s business for three years. Before joining the OHPLC team, Oscar started his own business in 2019, focuson building custom pools, spas, and landscapes. Oscar has built and managed over 300 projects in The Valley containing pools, masonry, landscape and specialty lighting, kitchens and water features.

    Oscar takes pride in building quality products for his customers, especially when the product is for families to enjoy for a lifetime—it’s all about the positive impact on other’s lives. Oscar’s favorite part of the process is when the project is finished and the customer is pleased with his team’s work. Outside of work, Oscar enjoys his spare time with his wife and four children, as well as coaching high school and youth football; he loves the process of developing the new generation to be future leaders.

    Jack Dyer

    Principal Designer, Contractor

    Jack Dyer is the creative force behind OHPLC. With over a decade of experience in high-end residential design and construction, he has built a reputation as one of Arizona’s leading visionaries in outdoor living.

    Holding a KA Dual Engineering Contractor’s License, Jack blends technical precision with artistic vision to craft spaces that are both functional and breathtaking. He also holds a Sustainable Landscape Management (SLM®) Certification, a CMHA Paver Installer Certification, and is a Certified Watershape Foreman with Watershape University—credentials that reflect his commitment to best practices and enduring craftsmanship.

    Jack’s projects balance bold, modern aesthetics with timeless materials and native sensibilities, always tailored to each client and property. His work has earned multiple awards from the Arizona Landscape Contractors Association, been featured in editorial publications, and highlighted in Inspired Modern Living.

    For Jack, design is more than construction—it’s storytelling. Every project reflects lifestyle, intention, and place, creating lasting spaces uniquely suited to the clients he serves.

    Miguel Barron

    Project Engineer, Estimator

    Miguel, a near-native of The Valley, has spent five years in the landscape, pool, and building industry. As an Estimator at OHPLC, he excels in reviewing plans, creating proposals, and ensuring accurate job costing for our clients. His career began at a family friend’s landscape construction firm, where he developed expertise in design, bidding, and project management. Miguel has successfully overseen 50 diverse projects, ranging from simple installs to complex, seven-figure ventures.

    Miguel’s commitment to excellence drives his goal of expanding the estimating and pool divisions and nurturing new talent at OHPLC. He works closely with clients to ensure that every detail is addressed and that proposals are thoroughly reviewed, while his strong industry relationships and meticulous planning contribute to delivering exceptional results on every project.

    Ivan Hernandez

    Designer

    Ivan Hernandez is a Designer at OHPLC, where he plays a key role in bringing projects from concept to reality. With four years of experience in residential design and construction, Ivan supports both the creative and technical sides of the process, contributing to design development, project coordination, and on-site facilitation.

    Working closely under the mentorship of Principal Designer Jack Dyer, Ivan is honing his skills in high-end pool and landscape design, 3D modeling, and construction planning. His attention to detail and willingness to adapt make him an integral part of OHPLC’s collaborative approach.

    Dedicated to learning and growth, Ivan bridges design and execution, ensuring each project reflects OHPLC’s standard of precision, creativity, and client-focused care.
